In life we all have or had people we look up to, people we admire or people who inspire us to do more. But the truth is sometimes our role models do fail or don’t reach our expectations. In a situation like that it is so easy to begin to think and wonder if you will ever be able to go past the stumbling blocks that made them fail. For years David (the shepherd boy) had been blessed to have Saul as his role model. Saul was a great warrior. He was well respected among his people and by the neighboring nations. But when the time came for him to face Goliath, he could not stand against the giant. The opportunity availed itself, the king announced: “I will give great wealth to the man who kills Goliath…” When David heard of the opportunity he jumped to it! He didn’t say, “I’m just a shepherd boy.” But David looked back in his life, and remembered the time when God gave him strength to kill both the lion and the bear when tending the sheep. CHANGE IS COMING! ARE YOU READY FOR IT After a long time of silent, God has put it in my spirit that change is coming! Which areas in your life where you really need change or shall I say transformation? Could it be in your bank account, relationship or workplace? Friend, whichever area, no matter how impossible it can look in the natural but God can bring change in your life! You might be saying, Mandla, “How can I access this change or how can I make sure that I don’t miss this moment of change?” Read through as I share with you THREE things you will need to do in order to access this change in your life!   I like the fact that God does not hide the important details in his word; like in this scripture he doesn’t hide from us that there are weapons of mass destructions formed against us. So he states it very clearly that there are weapons formed against us. Here is what I love the most about this scripture, “No matter how big or small, or how powerful they can be, but God says they are bound to fail, they cannot prosper against you whether it is during the day or during the night but they are doomed to fail.” Now this is what the devil would say to you most of the time, “He would remind you that, he killed your father with the same weapon he has formed against you!” I know we all come from different walks of life, for some their weapon could be divorce, sickness, getting retrenched from work or dying in a car accident. Let say for example, if your mother died of cancer,  the enemy will tell you that you will also die the same way. You can tell which weapon the devil has been us...

Early this year they told me that their system does not approve me, so I was declined by their system. What they didn't know was that God did not decline me instead he approved me. Now last week they called me for a meeting, little did I know that they were calling me for the approval of the deal! All I want to say to you today is that if God approves you, no one can stop you from getting what he has promised you. Whether it's your mother or your boss that is standing on your way I don't care, all I know is that nobody can stop God from blessing you! They might have drawn a red line across your name indicating that everyone can be promoted but not you. I'm here to let you know that God is able to erase red lines. I prophesy today that you will look on your name and see the red line no more; for God is taking the limits off right now! As you go to bed today, thank God that he has approved you.

Get Ready! What are you expecting this season or three months from now? Is it a promotion, a baby or any breakthrough that can thrust you to another level? Just before the Israelites could cross over the river Jordan, this is the instruction God gave them, 'Get your supplies ready. Three days from now you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the LORD your God is giving you for your own.’ Too many times, many of us pray for promotions but they are very few people who take a step further, by working towards that promotion like enrolling for extra courses that pertains that position we looking for! It is vital important that you get more information about where you going or about that position, a car or a baby because even though all these things are a blessing from God but if you don’t have enough knowledge about them you might end up praying prayers like, “Why did you give me this Lord? Please take it away!” You can avoid getting yourself in such ...

If you didn't find what you were looking for today, don't worry, tomorrow is still another day! If you were looking for a job and you did not get it; there is something better for you! Be thankful for the fact that you had an opportunity to look for it! Remember that someone today has been deprived of the same opportunity you had! Right now as you read this, he is sleeping in the hospital bed praying to God, "Lord if you could give me another chance, I would do it better, work harder and not give up." How about the one today who has been falsely accused of rape or any crime, now he is spending the rest of his life in the stinking prison. He is now living a life he never planned to live! Even if he has brilliant Ideas that could change the whole world but he can't pass them on or share them because he is in now limited. Use your time wisely today, It's never nice to look back in your life and say, "Oh, I wasted my time, oh if I could turn back the hand...

God has kept a record of everything good you have done. He still remembers when you gave even when you had little. He has not forgotten the day you showed love to a stranger, to people who didn't appreciate your love instead they manipulated you and hurt you even more like Joseph. You can never go unnoticed before God when you are doing good! He delights when we are doing good! The Hebrew midwives were given a command by the King(Pharoah) to kill every Israelites boy child during child birth, but since these women feared God more than a King's command, they didn't kill these boys. God saw what these women did and the scripture tells us that He gave them the families of their own! God is about to reward you for everthing good you have done. People may forget what you did for them, but God never forgets for he keeps every details on record. God will reward you with things that no man can ever give or reward you with! Expect something from God! This season!

Early this year God said I will build you up and not tear you down; if you stay in the land. One of the most common things that you would find about great leaders is that before God put them in authority he allows them to go through oppression; they get treated unfairly or falsely accused. And when you look from a distance you would think surely they must have done a terrible thing before God so he is punishing them; but that’s not true. God allows them to go through those situations so that when he put them in high position; they will not treat other people unfairly, they will not look down on other people because of their status or their background but instead they will create a peaceful environment where people love to work in. Lastly, the scripture tells us that, the more the Israelites were oppressed; the more they grew in number. If you are going through oppression in this season know for sure that God is preparing you for a high position! Be ready because you are about to ...

Has God done something great or miraculous in your life in the past six months? Maybe he gave you a Job or He answered your prayers, or you got a major breakthrough; all glory be to God! I have realized that sometimes even though we had major breakthroughs but some areas of our lives still need attention! This is what Moses said to the Israelites concerning this issue, “You saw with your own eyes the great trials, the miraculous signs and wonders, the mighty hand and outstretched arm, with which the LORD your God brought you out. The LORD your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear. God is saying, “Your previous victory or breakthrough was not a co-incident.” He is the one who made you victorious. He says I will do the same to the challenges you now facing!

Have you ever been in a point in your life where when you look back you say, “Yeah, I have gone through the valleys, climbed over a mountain, and faced the giants but now what I’m facing is even more scary than the previous challenges; the valley is too deep and the giants are more fierce than the last year’s giants?” Well in my whole life, especially in my walk with the Lord, I have learned that, when the next challenge is tougher than the previous one, it’s a sign that the next blessing or victory is bigger than the earlier ones. If you are in that situation right now, I’m here to let you know that something big is coming your way! You are going to the next level! King Nebuchadnezzar ordered that the blazing furnace be heated seven times normal, so to burn the men of God, nevertheless they came out victorious to a point that the king decreed that all the people should bow down to God of three men who were in a furnace! 

So there I was, just on my way from home. As soon as the taxi moved away from the filling station and stopped at a distance; a little girl sitting on my right hand side at the back seat began to cry. I thought she would just stop crying in a moment but to my surprise she kept on crying even more. Seeing that I could not ignore her anymore, I looked at her face and noticed that tears were already flooding from her tiny eyes. Then I said to her, “Don’t cry, they will be back.” (Referring to her father who had gone to the loo) What caught my attention to a point that I chose to share this story with you, was not because of how she cried or the tears from her face, but it was the way she responded after hearing my words! As soon as she heard me’ she wiped away all her tears and when I looked at her for the second time she behaved as if his father was already there, she was no longer crying she was no longer frustrated or worried! My point is, “How would our lives be like, if we would r...

When you have valid reasons why you shouldn't achieve your dreams; it’s hard to believe that you can  really make it! Some of the reasons that makes us think we can’t achieve our dreams could be our background, disadvantages,  lack of experience or no qualification at all, or how about the balance in your account or maybe the sickness.  The system of this world has set standards and limits! It says you can’t have this if you earn so much,  or you can never rich a certain level in life when you have certain disadvantages. But I have learned that the ways of God are far higher than our ways; you tell me, “How does the one who was a reject,  a slave a, prisoner, (Joseph), ended up becoming a governor in Egypt?” If God can lift someone up, who was fully disadvantaged;  He can also lift you up from the ashes and make you a great person! My point is, it’s time we think beyond our circumstances! Instead of thinking, I will never have this and that,...

Second Chance! Somehow, God gives us a second chance in life, to do it better or to become a better person. It could be in a relationship, a friendship, in business partnership, in studies or whatever the case may be! I have realized that before we start all over again; it is vitally important that we look back and see what exactly went wrong. What is it that caused the failure, because if I don’t know what made me to crash, I’m likely to crash again! Do you know what made you fail? Do you know what made you crash? After you have answered the previous questions, then you can ask yourself, “What am I going to do differently this time?” We have all been given a second chance in different areas of life and it’s up to each an every one of us to make use of it in a good way! The reason Peter and his friends caught so much fish to a point that even their nets broke was not because they had been fishing for the whole night nor because they were skilled fishermen and had experience in fishing; but it was because they did what Jesus told them to do! What touches me the most is that Peter and his friends must have been exhausted already due to the fact that they had been fishing the whole night but never the less they listened to Jesus. Amazing things can happen when we do as Jesus says. Sometimes what he asks might be difficult but I urge you to test him in this area and see what can happen My friend, this season, if you will do exactly what Jesus tells you to do, you will see increase like never before, you will experience the supernatural in your life; you will receive miracles like never before!

With his mighty hand and an outstretched arm, God fought for the Israelites in Egypt even throughout the desert. God completely destroyed their enemies. Nevertheless, the Israelites still had fear in their hearts, afraid of their enemies, afraid of the future! The future enemies seemed stronger than the past enemies. Moses said to them, “The LORD your God will do the same to all the peoples you now fear.” My friend I’m here to let you know that God is still the same yesterday today and forever, whether the challenges changes or not God is still the same! The same God, who fought for you in the first half of the year, will also fight for you even in this second half of the year! “Fear not, for I have redeemed you, I have called you by my name you are mine” says the Lord. Even if you go through the fire it will not burn you! You might be feeling overwhelmed with lot of things today, and you say, “I don’t know if I’m gonna make it.” Know this today, God holds victory in store for the...

This is how she did it; for two long years, she had been praying for a child and she made a vow to God, saying, “Father if you give me a child I will give him to you.” Amazingly God answered her prayer; he gave him not just a child but a prophet, a man that could hear the voice of God clearly! What I like the most is that she didn’t forget what she had promised God, she gave the baby back to God as promised! When God saw that, she gave her six more children! Here is the key; when you have made a vow to God, fulfill it, and you will see more and more blessing come your way just like Hannah. To the faithful, God shows himself faithful. God wants to open up the flood gates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that we will not have room enough for it, but the only way we can activate it, is by being faithful to God and fulfill our vows to him!

He had big dreams, and he was so excited about them, but as years went by everything that was happening to him was totally against what he saw in his dreams! First it was jealous from his brothers. When he thought it was the end of it, then he was falsely accused which led him to prison. No one ever thought that Joseph would rise up and become one of the greatest in Egypt! My friend, your resolutions might have not yet come to fruition, but I’m here to let you know that sometimes it doesn't have to look like you can make it; for as long as God is on your side, you will put to death Giants that even your parents could not destroy! A giant might look big but greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world! You might have started this year with a lowest gear and it seemed as if you going backward, but don’t lose hope; instead believe God that the second half of 2011 will be a season of blessing.  Somehow God has a way to talk to key people on your behalf. When you have run out of words and it seems as if many are those who are speaking against you; God is there to speak on your behalf! When your character or your past cannot save you or get you what you want, God can get you what you need! Have you ever had a bad record; so bad that you even wished to change your name because of the terrible things you did that are associated with your name? O how hard it is to live in this kind of situation! If you have ever been in that situation, don’t be discouraged; I ‘m here to let you know that you are not alone! Why not prevent it when you can? He knew how to fight. The best from the animal kingdom could not stand him! He was a great warrior; so strong and powerful that even Goliath could not stand him, but yet when he faced the anointed one, Saul; he chose to run away from him and hide in the curves than to touch him or kill him! Two times his enemy, Saul, fell asleep, right before him but again, he decided not to touch him. What was it that caused David to act this way? David was so aware of the dangers that can happen to him if he touches the anointed one! He knew that touching him was like fighting against God! It’s either you are on the good side of the anointing or on the bad side! The anointing caused the Israelites to walk freely on dry ground of the red sea. On the other hand the same anointing of God caused the Egyptians to walk with difficulty while chasing the Israelites. It’s up to you today to chose!  Do you wanna be on the bad side or a good side? You wouldn’t like to go through what she went through! It is true that at some point in life you will not agree with everything that your pastors say or do. Just like Miriam; she did not approve of Moses marriage with a Cushite woman. But what do you do when you don’t agree with them? Do you oppose them like Miriam? Do you go out and shout to the world, talk about their insecurities like Ham who did not cover his father when he saw him naked? My friend, God was not pleased with Miriam’s actions; as a result, the curse fell upon her. I am certain that you don’t want a curse in your life, but a blessing. Therefore; cover your pastors and pray for them. In so doing God will release a blessing in your life!

I have come to realize that, in life, you don’t have to look promising that you can make it! People will always judge us according to our past, the way we look, the way we talk. Worse part of it is, when we count ourselves out of the blessing! You don’t have to be discouraged today because of your past, because as long as you have God on your side you will accomplish what your work history, your past or qualification cannot get you! People might have drawn a line and said you can never make it, but you will make it! It’s not about what they say but it’s about what God says about you! He says, you are more than a conquer! He says, “Instead of their shame, my people shall receive a double portion.” You might have received bad reports but expect a double portion!  

Throughout the bible you will notice that the enemy has been using same methods to frustrate and intimidate the people of God! One of the schemes he uses is; he creates an environment that is not conducive by magnifying the problems and giants around you. But think about this for a moment; if I place a magnifying glass on top of a tiny object it looks big but that does not change the object itself but it changes the appearance! All you have to do is; see the problem as God sees it. If God says he holds the whole world in the palm of his hand, that should give you an idea how big are the eyes of God! When you are ten thousand feet above the ground, what someone says it’s big on the ground, you see it as a tiny object. Let us change our perspective towards the problems we face and see them as God sees them!

If we will always wait for a crisis to hit us so that we can pray, fast, seek God's face and have that intimate relationship with God; then I guess God has to allow difficulties in our lives every now and then so to keep us deep in love with him! Spending time with God should be our life style! We shouldn’t wait for a measure event or a crisis. Again, the main reason the enemy does not want to see you spending time with God is because he knows that when you do; you will have all the answers you need in this life! Friend there is something precious that your money cannot buy you! If a man that was known to be after God’s heart would say, “Cast me not from thy presence. Better is one day in your court than a thousand elsewhere.” Then, this should ring a bell to us, that we really need God’s presence more than ever; of cause this can be achieved by inviting Holy Spirit to guide us in this regard for it is not by might nor by power but by his spirit!

It’s amazing that every time when God wants to perform a tremendous miracle particularly where he wants to increase or multiply the little that you have; he doesn’t come when you have plenty when you have more than enough! He comes right at a time when you only have the last meal, when you have the last strength or already exhausted or when you have little left and he says, “Give it to me!” After many years; Abraham, believing and praying to God that he may grant him a son, God finally answered his prayer. O how excited he was! But something remarkable happened, God asked Abraham to give him his only son as a burnt offering!   God is not mainly concerned about the increase that happens after you have obeyed his instruction but he is more concerned about your faith, “Can God Trust You?” This is the main area where God test our hearts if we really depend on him! I wonder if there are still people like Abraham who would be bold enough and do exactly as the word of God says, I wonde...

There is only one thing at this moment that you can rely on! It doesn’t matter how long you have tried and failed! Even if you have struggled so long that you are used to it; lack, bondage and stress have become a norm! For the whole night, Peter and his friends spent all their energy, used all methods they could to catch the fish but all was done in vain! Jesus came right at the moment when they were washing their nets as a sign of giving up, and he gave them a word that changed not only their lives but also the other fishermen. They caught so much fish that even the nets could not hold it! My friend what you need is not money or connections but all you need is the word from God! Get a word from God and when you get it, do exactly what it says; you will see a turnaround in your situation! You will see supernatural increase like never before in your life!

Your future is not determined by the current situations, current reports, the bad news; but it is determined by God Almighty! When he said you shall prosper in everything you do, he meant it. You don’t have to wait for it to manifest in the natural so that you can worship him or praise him! Praise him for his promises! Give thanks to him even for the things he has not done yet; for he is not a man that he should lie. Whatever he has promised you, he will surely do it for you! The Jordan River was at a flood stage, right at the moment when it was their time to cross over to the other side, the Promised Land! It was their huge obstacle! I could imagine the thoughts that went through their minds; “Are we really in God’s will? Are we surely gonna make it to the Land God promised us?” Their obstacle was saying to them, “You can’t make it to the other side! You don’t have enough resources! You don’t qualify!” That was the report from their obstacle contrary to the report of God that said,...

Are you going through a situation that you don’t have any idea how you gonna get out of it? Don’t worry! He did it last time; he can still do it today even tomorrow; his name is Jesus! If God could speak to the blazing furnace, heated seven times more than normal, not to burn Abednego, Shadrach and Meshach; how can he not speak to your situation not to harm you? If the challenges you facing today are abnormal; know this, your blessing will be extraordinary! “My plans are not to harm you but to prosper you and give you a future,” Says the Lord. My people shall receive a double portion instead of their shame! My friend, God is the same yesterday, today and forever! What he was able to do thousand years ago, he can still perform it today! If God wanted to perform a miracle today, you are the right person for it! God will use your situation to show off his power!

Many times when we talk about how Hannah received her breakthrough, i.e., giving birth to Samuel; we emphasize on prayer, perseverance and persistence, but today I want us to look very closely at the key that unlocked her breakthrough! Firstly, let us look at her prayer. In bitterness of soul Hannah wept much and prayed to the LORD. And she made a vow , saying, "O LORD Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the LORD for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head." Now my friend, I cannot finish this message without putting it into your attention that with this kind of prayer where you not only pray but also make a vow to God; God did not only give Hannah just one child, but the Child became an honorable person in the Land and in addition to that, God gave Hannah six more children! Imagine what can happen in your life with this kind of ...

The gates, doors and even the windows were tightly shut in the city of Jericho. No one could get in or come out! It was tightly shut! The reason was; the people of Jericho had heard about how the Lord had dried up the Jordan River so that the Israelites could walk on the dry ground! So their hearts were overwhelmed with fear! My friend, is there a door in your life that you wanna go through but it is shut and it seems impossible for you to get through? Is there something that you have been praying for so long but you haven’t received it, while others are being blessed all around you? Maybe you have been told that you are over qualified; that’s a closed door! Now my friend, in the coming days I will be sharing with you, an important word that God has put in my heart which I believe it has the keys that will help us unlock those doors! If my people…will turn away from their wicked ways…I will heal their land! When God saw what the Ninevites did and how they turned from their evil ways, he had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction he had threatened. Jeremiah 18:8 and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned. Friend, we serve a merciful God! Dates set to be our worst days can be one of our best days only if we humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from our evil ways! If God could change his mind about his decision to destroy Nineveh; he can do it for us today; he can leave behind a blessing instead of disaster! He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

If my people will… Seek my face ; then will I hear from heaven and heal their Land. 2Chronicles 7:14 Imagine if you lose something valuable in your house; maybe car keys or a diamond ring. What would you do? Certainly you would search for it. if you had plans to play your video games or go shopping or visit you friends, you would stop those plans and search your lost diamond ring. Likewise, sometimes it requires us to put some things aside if we really wanna see God’s face, and engage ourselves on the things that will give strength to the spirit man, like fasting. Now if I don’t see God’s face; figuratively speaking, that means I only see God’s back. In other words, God has turned his back on me. My friend, there is no painful experience on earth which can be compared to having God turns his back on you! Previously we discussed the first part which contribute to the healing process of our land. In as much as it is important but it is not enough; it only preparers us for the next level which is 'Prayer'. In other words, it sets our hearts into a right mode to pray. Now, the reason we pray is because God knows everything and he has all the solutions for what ever we can face in this life. In prayer; it is where we can receive direction from the Lord. It is where God gives us the winning strategies. No wonder why the enemy does not want to see you praying. every time you want to spend time in prayer you get distracted. The enemy knows that if you pray things will begin to change, mountains will be moved. When Hezekiah was told that he was gonna die, he prayed and God added 15 years in his life. A barren woman named Hannah prayed to God for a child and God gave her seven children. Mighty things will happen when we don't stop praying. Keep on praying; miracles can happen ...

If my people will humble themselves…I will heal their land! Now a humble heart is the one that admits that it is nothing without God, it cannot do anything without God. It says, “I am not taking another step until you speak Lord! Your plans are far better than mine. You know everything. You know my future!” It says, “Do not take me up to the next level if your presence does not go with me.” A humble heart says yes to the will of God! It does not seek praise, but it gives praise to God! It understands that it has been saved by the grace of God! It is absolutely not egotistical! Long ago there were lots and lots of problems in the house of Israel while they were held captive by the Babylonians; there was oppression and every challenge that comes with it! Some of the people were even planning to go down to Egypt; nevertheless they inquired of the Lord before they could take that direction. After ten days the lord told Jeremiah that the people must not go down to Egypt instead they must stay in the land for if they stay in the land; the Lord will build them up and not tear them down. He will plant them and not uproot them for he was grieved with the suffering he had inflicted on them.   Jeremiah 42:10 The moral of the story is: when things are tough, we must ask God first for direction, like; what to do or where to go. Remember, it’s God who makes the land productive and prosperous. Sometimes we are not blessed because of the place we in, but we are blessed because of God who is in the Land! My friend It's time to change things! If you happen to have a need or a request to the Lord, Let us agree in prayer right now and begin to turn the situation around!  What you do while waiting for your breakthrough or your miracle could be a key to unlock your supernatural blessing! Think about this, the same prisoner whom Joseph interpreted his dream was the one who helped him out of prison. He spoke a good word for him before Pharaoh. Imagine if he had withdrew his gift; Joseph could have died in prison and never saw the great things God had in store for him! What are you doing today with what you have while waiting on God? Could it be possible that you already have a key to your breakthrough! Look around today and see if there is anything good you can do while waiting for your miracle!  

Before I could sleep, I sensed it in my spirit that this is the month of healing. God wants to heal us physically, emotionally, or financially. God wants to heal our land! Almost all great people we admire whether in this life time or even in the bible; they have all gone through a waiting period. While in the desert, waiting to be made king over Israel; David wrote praise and worship songs to the Lord. While waiting to be released in prison; Nelson Mandela wrote his famous book_The Long Walk To Freedom, Paul and Silas worshiped the Lord! How can I forget that also in the similar situation to the above, Paul wrote most of the New Testament's books in the Bible. So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. It is vitally important that we constantly hear from God because if we don't we will end up fighting the battles of today with the weapons of yesterday. Just because a certain weapon or a method worked perfectly last year, that doesn't necessarily mean that it will work this year. In fact, the power is not in a method, a certain activity or in shouting but it is found in God! The staff of Moses performed great wonders in Egypt; turning water into blood, dividing the read sea and bringing water out of the rock but when Joshua took over he knew that the power is not in the staff but in God. It is an undeniable truth that at some point in life we all get into trouble. Like every Christian; we pray about it, we bind, loose or rebuke it but sometimes it doesn't go away or we don't get out of that situation quickly. The Lord told me this morning that the reason he doesn't take us out quickly is because he doesn't want us to get out of that trouble not knowing what exactly got us in there in the first place. The problem is, if we don't know what got us in there, it would be easy for us to fall back into the same trap. God want's to make sure that you don't fall back to the same trap again. Lastly, not only does he wants us to know what the root cause of the problem was, but he also want us to learn the exit strategies, i.e., how to get out of this challenge?
