It's Possible; You Can Receive Your Miracle!

It’s amazing that every time when God wants to perform a tremendous miracle particularly where he wants to increase or multiply the little that you have; he doesn’t come when you have plenty when you have more than enough! He comes right at a time when you only have the last meal, when you have the last strength or already exhausted or when you have little left and he says, “Give it to me!”

After many years; Abraham, believing and praying to God that he may grant him a son, God finally answered his prayer. O how excited he was! But something remarkable happened, God asked Abraham to give him his only son as a burnt offering!

God is not mainly concerned about the increase that happens after you have obeyed his instruction but he is more concerned about your faith, “Can God Trust You?” This is the main area where God test our hearts if we really depend on him!

I wonder if there are still people like Abraham who would be bold enough and do exactly as the word of God says, I wonder if there are still people today who would respond like Peter whom even though he was already exhausted and tried everything he could, but listened to God and did as God said! You are sure to see miracles and multiplication in your life only if you do as God tells you!

Yeah , I Tried...!

So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. I gave him all the reasons why I wasn't the best; I told him about my insecurities, my worst background that I don't even tell other people about. O, did he forget that I messed up where I ran away from? I told him all these to convince him that I was not the right person he can use! Seeing that nothing I said could convince him; I said to him, ok God but at least I'm satisfied with where I am. Everybody is good around me in fact I even have children and they are all happy here! Even though I had graduated with many degrees in Egypt but hey, I couldn't convince God not to bless me. Like Moses, in the above conversation;"How many times do we try and convince God that he cannot use us for great things? How many times do we believe our backgrounds, mistakes and insecurities when they tell us t...

This is another level of life.

When Jane, a twelve year old girl would cry in order for her mother to pay close  attention to her; Joane (Jane's mother) would quickly attend to her, pampering and  tapping lightly on her back with massaging strokes of her hand. At that young age, Jane enjoyed this experience so much such that it became her normal. However, as she grew older, she noticed that her mother had changed  her response towards her. She then realized that she had to do something different in order to regain her mother's attention... One of the obstacle that stands on our way or delays us from getting to another level of life is to try and solve today's problem with yesterday's formula. Just because a certain method worked wonders on yesterday's problem, does not necessarily mean that it can work on today's problem. Joshua understood this very clearly at the face of the raging river Jordan that was at a flooding stage. Instead of using the staff of Moses that parted the red see; Jo...
