The Healing of the Land: A Humble Heart (1)

If my people will humble themselves…I will heal their land!

Now a humble heart is the one that admits that it is nothing without God, it cannot do anything without God. It says, “I am not taking another step until you speak Lord! Your plans are far better than mine. You know everything. You know my future!” It says, “Do not take me up to the next level if your presence does not go with me.”

A humble heart says yes to the will of God! It does not seek praise, but it gives praise to God! It understands that it has been saved by the grace of God! It is absolutely not egotistical!

All that God wants us to do, is to humble ourselves, and he promises us that if we do so, he will lift us up! When God lifts you up; no one will pull you down!

Yeah , I Tried...!

So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. I gave him all the reasons why I wasn't the best; I told him about my insecurities, my worst background that I don't even tell other people about. O, did he forget that I messed up where I ran away from? I told him all these to convince him that I was not the right person he can use! Seeing that nothing I said could convince him; I said to him, ok God but at least I'm satisfied with where I am. Everybody is good around me in fact I even have children and they are all happy here! Even though I had graduated with many degrees in Egypt but hey, I couldn't convince God not to bless me.
