The Importance of Hearing from God.

It is vitally important that we constantly hear from God because if we don't
we will end up fighting the battles of today with the weapons of yesterday.

Just because a certain weapon or a method worked perfectly last year, that
doesn't necessarily mean that it will work this year. In fact, the power is
not in a method, a certain activity or in shouting but it is found in God!

The staff of Moses performed great wonders in Egypt; turning water into
blood, dividing the read sea and bringing water out of the rock but when
Joshua took over he knew that the power is not in the staff but in God.

Friend there is a solution for your problem. Before you can fight; ask God
what to do. Whatever he says, do it!

Yeah , I Tried...!

So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. I gave him all the reasons why I wasn't the best; I told him about my insecurities, my worst background that I don't even tell other people about. O, did he forget that I messed up where I ran away from? I told him all these to convince him that I was not the right person he can use! Seeing that nothing I said could convince him; I said to him, ok God but at least I'm satisfied with where I am. Everybody is good around me in fact I even have children and they are all happy here! Even though I had graduated with many degrees in Egypt but hey, I couldn't convince God not to bless me.
