If my people…will turn away from their wicked ways…I will heal their land!

When God saw what the Ninevites did and how they turned from their evil ways, he had compassion and did not bring upon them the destruction he had threatened. Jeremiah 18:8 and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned.

Friend, we serve a merciful God! Dates set to be our worst days can be one of our best days only if we humble ourselves and pray and seek God’s face and turn from our evil ways! If God could change his mind about his decision to destroy Nineveh; he can do it for us today; he can leave behind a blessing instead of disaster! He is the same yesterday, today and forever!

Yeah , I Tried...!

So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. I gave him all the reasons why I wasn't the best; I told him about my insecurities, my worst background that I don't even tell other people about. O, did he forget that I messed up where I ran away from? I told him all these to convince him that I was not the right person he can use! Seeing that nothing I said could convince him; I said to him, ok God but at least I'm satisfied with where I am. Everybody is good around me in fact I even have children and they are all happy here!
