CHANGE IS COMING! ARE YOU READY FOR IT
After a long time of silent, God has put it in my spirit that change is coming!
Which areas in your life where you really need change or shall I say transformation? Could it be in your bank account, relationship or workplace? Friend, whichever area, no matter how impossible it can look in the natural but God can bring change in your life!
You might be saying, Mandla, “How can I access this change or how can I make sure that I don’t miss this moment of change?” Read through as I share with you THREE things you will need to do in order to access this change in your life!
ONE: YOU HAVE TO DO EXACTLY WHAT GOD TELLS YOU TO DO!
John2: 1On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, 2and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. 3When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” 4“Dear woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My time has not yet come.”5His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” 6Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. 7Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim. 8Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so, 9and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. This was supposed to be a worst wedding ever, but it didn’t end like that, thanks to Jesus. You might be expecting 2012 to be the worst year, maybe because of the things that are not going right in your life. Maybe you lost your job or lost a close person in your life or maybe you have been blacklisted; but I can assure you today that if you will do exactly what Jesus tells you to do, you are sure to see change in your life! This is exactly what happened in my life early this year, I was deep in debt, owing about R97 000 and I prayed and sought God’s face regarding my situation and God told me to give R40 000, and guess what, my debt was cancelled immediately. You see it can happen to you to. The other thing we learn from Mary’s story is that we cannot ignore the fact that, it wasn’t Jesus who approached Mary to find out if there was any shortage of wine but instead it was Mary. The point is, if Mary had not reported the crisis to Jesus, Jesus could have kept quite. The situation could have remained the same! Report those areas in your life which needs change to Jesus, and do exactly what Jesus tells you to do then you will see change!
TWO: BE WILLING TO DO WHAT YOU HAVE NEVER DONE BEFORE!
Luke 5: 1One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, with the people crowding around him and listening to the word of God, 2he saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets. 3He got into one of the boats, the one belonging to Simon, and asked him to put out a little from shore. Then he sat down and taught the people from the boat. 4When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” 5Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” 6When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. 7 So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. Many of us want to see change in our lives but the question is, how many of us are willing to go an extra mile in order to access the change from God? You see Peter was tired, he could have said, “Master, I hear your point but how about I do it tomorrow or next week?” Instead he decided to do it same time and believed the word from Jesus! Peter understood that the word was for that moment not for tomorrow! What is it that you keep on saying I will do it, next week or next year? You need to act quickly in order to see change! You are sure to see change only if you are willing to go beyond.
THREE: SEE THE CHANGE IN THE SPIRIT
Did you know that everything that is created or made by man, started first in the spirit before it could appear in the natural? Think about this; the builders don’t start by building a house first, then draw it on paper and imagine it, no, but they imagine it first (see it in the Spirit). Second stage, they depict the image on paper get into more details on how will that size of the house be. Then lastly, they build the house! Whatever change you want to see in your life, begin to see it in the spirit. 1Kings 18:44 finally the seventh time, his servant told him, "I saw a little cloud about the size of a man's hand rising from the sea." Then Elijah shouted, "Hurry to Ahab and tell him, 'Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you don't hurry, the rain will stop you!’’ You might say, Mandla, I’ve been trying to convince myself that I will surely see change in my life but I haven’t seen it yet. Well don’t give up, imagine in your spirit the things that you want to see change. Imagine them until you can see them in your spirit.
Get ready for change, be prepared for change! Do exactly what Jesus tells you to do! Be willing to do whatever it takes and lastly see it in the spirit and you are sure to see change in your life!
