Grown Ups


We can not run away from the fact that if you are a grown up person, you don't just eat everything that is on the table but you choose! You become very careful of what you eat. Just because it's called food, it doesn't mean all foods are good for me! 

My friend what you eat is so important to a point that, since the beginning, food has become a target for the enemy to get us out of God's will and a victorious life, and the enemy knows that if he can put poison on your food or lead you to eating what you are not supposed to eat he can get you out of God's will!

Didn't the devil use the fruit that was in the middle of the garden to lead Adam and Eve away from the beautiful garden of Eden? He enticed them to eat what the Lord had commanded them not to eat. They ate and what happened? They fell into sin!

Esau sold his birth right, because of food, why because he was hungry! People can do nasty and wicked things when they are hungry! Even today the enemy is still using food as a source to get us away from the will of God! 

If we(the people of this earth) choose what to eat in order to feed our mortal bodies; how much more with the things of the Spirit that is eternal? My dear friend, what I'm saying to you today is, "Let us choose what we feed our minds! Let us choose what we feed our spirit!" The scripture says, "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." In as much as what you feed your body manifest later after you have eaten, so is what you feed your spirit, it shall manifest. You can't be feeding your mind or your spirit and expect to think straight or expect to breakfree of those addictions!  

My friend, Shedrack, Meshack and Abednigo knew what we are talking about! What did they do? They resolved not to defile themselves with the food and the wine of the King. Just because it is from the palace or from the Luxurious Hotel in town does not mean it's good for me! I'm old enough to know what is good for me and what is not! The scripture says, "The Lord gave wisdom, knowledge and understanding to these three men," why? Because they choose not to eat the defiled food! Same thing shall happen unto you my friend as you choose what you eat, you shall be ten times better! Wisdom, knowledge and understanding is coming your way!

Yeah , I Tried...!

So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. I gave him all the reasons why I wasn't the best; I told him about my insecurities, my worst background that I don't even tell other people about. This is another level of life.

When Jane, a twelve year old girl would cry in order for her mother to pay close  attention to her; Joane (Jane's mother) would quickly attend to her, pampering and  tapping lightly on her back with massaging strokes of her hand.
