As I watched my younger brother crying while in my mother’s arms, I couldn’t understand. He had been breast feeding in the previous days but this time he didn’t seem to enjoy feeding. The milk that was nice just yesterday was now bitter. My mother told me that she had intentionally smeared an aloe juice on her nipple so that when my brother tries to breastfeed, he will taste something bitter so that he won’t continue breastfeeding, but instead move on to the much stronger foods. This might sound odd, but sometimes this is how God operates; when he sees that you are now ready to launch on to the new level, he deliberately cause your same environment that  used to be comfortable into an unfriendly environment. That is the wise person. It doesn’t have to be the most learned person on earth, a professor or the poorest person but anyone who does what God says is considered wise in the eyes of God. We have spoken about the first key, which is, “Pray continually.” My expectation was that, as you pray continually God will begin to directly speak to you, concerning your life; which step to take next? What decision to make? What to do in this season in order to experience God’s miracles in your life? In life we are always bombarded with challenges that our human mind cannot comprehend. When we are in that point of life; it’s easy to just take the very first advice that comes along the way without considering that the spiritual warfare can only be fought using spiritual weapons. ...

God is about to do a new thing in your life If we are really serious about seeing the new things that God has for us in this season and if we truly want to see it take root in our lives; we have to let go of the old and make room for the new. The old and the new cannot stay together. The old will ruin the new. The old could be the way of thinking, how we used to think, and the pattern of our thoughts or our belief system. A practical way of letting go of the old way of thinking; is by not allowing the negative thoughts to take root in our minds. If you water a seed which is inside the ground you can be sure that it will take root and grow to be a big tree. Right on my way home, the holy spirit put in my heart this prophetic message which is taken from the sad story of Jacob the father of Joseph who was also known as Israel. The story is about the time in the life of Jacob when he was receiving bad news constantly year after year. Firstly, Rebekah, his wife died, his children told him that the son that he loves the most, Joseph was dead. Moreover, the famine hit the land! all these broght misery, pain and stress in his life! It was just bad news after bad news! Jacob's spirit was crushed, his heart brocken! Isn't amazing that you can still be the child of God yet go through difficult situation.
