THE FORTH KEY: DOING WHAT GOD SAYS

If you would ask me, “Who is the wisest person on earth according to God’s perspective?”  I would tell you, “The wisest person is the one whom after hearing the word of God; does what it says. That is the wise person. It doesn’t have to be the most learned person on earth, a professor or the poorest person but anyone who does what God says is considered wise in the eyes of God.

We have spoken about the first key, which is, “Pray continually.” My expectation was that, as you pray continually God will begin to directly speak to you, concerning your life; which step to take next? What decision to make? What to do in this season in order to experience God’s miracles in your life?

In life we are always bombarded with challenges that our human mind cannot comprehend. When we are in that point of life; it’s easy to just take the very first advice that comes along the way without considering that the spiritual warfare can only be fought using spiritual weapons.
Time after time as you pray and ask God for direction, God will give you direction on what to do next. After fishing for the whole night, Peter and his friends could not catch any fish, but when they did what Jesus said they must do, i.e. throw the net at the deep side of the ocean, all of a sudden their net caught fish in abundance. I believe and I declare that as you do what God says do, you will see miracles in abundance in your life. That which the enemy has withheld from you, will be released to you. Flood gates of heaven will be opened to you and you will see God doing amazing things in your life like never before!

I opened this article talking about who is the wise person. Concerning the wise person, Jesus said, “The one who hears the word of God and does what it says, is like a man who built his house on a rock ; when storms and strong winds pushed against that house, it did not fall. Likewise, the storms of life may come against you, beat against you, but if you do what God says, you will not fall! When others have fallen, you will remain standing strong even after the storm is over. You will hold your shoulders up high and praise your God the almighty!

Yeah , I Tried...!

So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. I gave him all the reasons why I wasn't the best; I told him about my insecurities, my worst background that I don't even tell other people about. O, did he forget that I messed up where I ran away from? I told him all these to convince him that I was not the right person he can use! Seeing that nothing I said could convince him; I said to him, ok God but at least I'm satisfied with where I am. Everybody is good around me in fact I even have children and they are all happy here! Even though I had graduated with many degrees in Egypt but hey, I couldn't convince God not to bless me. Like Moses, in the above conversation;"How many times do we try and convince God that he cannot use us for great things? How many times do we believe our backgrounds, mistakes and insecurities when they tell us t...

This is another level of life.

When Jane, a twelve year old girl would cry in order for her mother to pay close  attention to her; Joane (Jane's mother) would quickly attend to her, pampering and  tapping lightly on her back with massaging strokes of her hand. At that young age, Jane enjoyed this experience so much such that it became her normal. However, as she grew older, she noticed that her mother had changed  her response towards her. She then realized that she had to do something different in order to regain her mother's attention... One of the obstacle that stands on our way or delays us from getting to another level of life is to try and solve today's problem with yesterday's formula. Just because a certain method worked wonders on yesterday's problem, does not necessarily mean that it can work on today's problem. Joshua understood this very clearly at the face of the raging river Jordan that was at a flooding stage. Instead of using the staff of Moses that parted the red see; Jo...
