Every now and then God speaks. "Don't go there, help there, don't touch that", He says. Sometimes his voice is so clear simple because it is mostly in line with the scriptures. For example, when God says 'give there', it's easy to accept or carry out that instruction than when He says, 'don't give' because giving is in line with the prevalent or most read scripture in the pulpit.
King Saul was told by God to kill everything and spare nothing but he disobeyed. 1 Samuel 15:9 AMP Saul and the people spared Agag and the best of the sheep, oxen, fatlings, lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them; but all that was undesirable or worthless they destroyed utterly. You see, if something is not good before God; it is not good at all. Destroy it while you still have power to, and before it cost you something great you wouldn't want to lose.
What then did Saul lose? 1 Samuel 15:28 AMP And Samuel said to him, The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you this day and has given it to a neighbor of yours who is better than you. Saul therefore lost his kingdom and it was given to somebody else. I personally don't aspire to be like Saul. I don't want to lose what God has prepared for me. I hope this is your desire too. May you do what the Lord asks you to do whether it feels good or painful.
I pray that when God speaks you will harken to his voice. If you do, you will experience miracles after miracles in your life. John 2:5 AMP His mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it. Save yourself, do what God asks of you and you will avoid a whole lot of troubles. Amen.
