Yep...You Are Hearing The Voice Of God


Most people search for, "how to hear the voice of God". They want to hear God, they want him to speak to them concerning their future or their situation. What they are not aware of is the fact that  God is already speaking to them, it's just that they haven't recognized his voice.

When talking about God speaking to you I'm not just talking about God speaking through dreams and visions, certainly He still does; but in this case I'm talking about God speaking to you through that still small voice in your heart.

Sometimes that small voice would speak when you are over-speeding on the road you shouldn't be driving beyond the speed limit, and say, 'slow down'. Or say to you show mercy on that waitress who seems to be confused, mistaking your order for somebody else.

I believe with all my heart that if we begin to be obedient and faithful in small things and not suppress his voice when God speaks; we will grow in hearing the voice of God. God will tell us  big things concerning our future only if we listen and do what He tells us to do.

Yeah , I Tried...!

So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. I gave him all the reasons why I wasn't the best; I told him about my insecurities, my worst background that I don't even tell other people about. O, did he forget that I messed up where I ran away from? I told him all these to convince him that I was not the right person he can use! Seeing that nothing I said could convince him; I said to him, ok God but at least I'm satisfied with where I am. Everybody is good around me in fact I even have children and they are all happy here!
