Money?

Most people in this present day, they need money more than anything. People would do anything to have money. They could kill for money. Prisons are filled up with men, of which most of them were robbers. There are spouses today who died before time because someone was hoping to get some benefits from the life insurance policy.  Money promises us to solve most of our problems. Hence, many people chase after it.

In Luke 2:52, the scripture says,  And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man. Moses prayed this prayer;  If you are pleased with me, teach me your ways so I may know you and continue to find favor with you. Remember that this nation is your people.” Exodus 33:13. You see money can help you up to a certain degree but there are places and areas in your life that money cannot save. Moses prayed that he may continue to find favor with the Lord. You see, you might not have money but if you have found favor from the Lord you have found a priceless gift. There are places  where money determines on who should stay or not stay. But, the favor of the Lord overrides all that! The favor of the Lord will get you there. 

Favor will get you what money cannot buy. Favor will get you the blessings you don't deserve. I pray that you may find favor with the Lord. For with the favor of the Lord, you will overtake. You will be granted business deals you didn't deserve. The favor of the Lord will take you places. If you ever seek anything wholeheartedly in your life, may it be the favor of the Lord.

Yeah , I Tried...!

So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. I gave him all the reasons why I wasn't the best; I told him about my insecurities, my worst background that I don't even tell other people about. O, did he forget that I messed up where I ran away from? I told him all these to convince him that I was not the right person he can use! This is another level of life.

When Jane, a twelve year old girl would cry in order for her mother to pay close  attention to her; Joane (Jane's mother) would quickly attend to her, pampering and  tapping lightly on her back with massaging strokes of her hand. At that young age, Jane enjoyed this experience so much such that it became her normal. However, as she grew older, she noticed that her mother had changed  her response towards her.
