How to find out what your calling is?

One of the things they taught us in  Mechanical engineering class is to use the right tool for the right job. Some of the reasons were; it could cost you more of your time to get the job done, or you could even hurt yourself. In other words when a wrong tool is used for a wrong job; it becomes a struggle. Each tool is designed for a certain purpose and if it is not used where it should function; vulnerability marks its course. We are no different to a tool designed by God for a certain purpose.

Now the main question is, "how do I find out what my calling in life is?" Now many studies have been conducted and a number of personality tests have been designed to help guide people in order to find out which careers could be suitable for them,  nevertheless, with all that, some people still find themselves unfulfilled in their careers. They find no meaning in what they do.

The right place to find out might not be in the books or seminars, but, in your mind. Your mind carries a secret to your calling.  Imagine this; Jane is studying as a Mechanical engineer,  but what surprises her the most is that instead of finding ideas about designing a new car or engine,  all she thinks about most of the time is designing new dresses. Everyday her mind is flooded with ideas on how to  make a special occasion dress.

What You Do While Waiting Upon The Lord , Matters! Part II

What you do while waiting for your breakthrough or your miracle could be a key to unlock your supernatural blessing! Think about this, the same prisoner whom Joseph interpreted his dream was the one who helped him out of prison. He spoke a good word for him before Pharaoh. Imagine if he had withdrew his gift; Joseph could have died in prison and never saw the great things God had in store for him! What are you doing today with what you have while waiting on God? Could it be possible that you already have a key to your breakthrough! Look around today and see if there is anything good you can do while waiting for your miracle! ____________________________________________________________ South Africas premier free email service - www.webmail.co.za For super low premiums, click here http://www.dialdirect.co.za/?vdn=15828

Yeah , I Tried...!

So there I was, you know, trying to convince God that I wasn't the right person for his blessing, I didn't deserve his favor and whatever that he thought I could become. I gave him all the reasons why I wasn't the best; I told him about my insecurities, my worst background that I don't even tell other people about. O, did he forget that I messed up where I ran away from? I told him all these to convince him that I was not the right person he can use! Seeing that nothing I said could convince him; I said to him, ok God but at least I'm satisfied with where I am. Everybody is good around me in fact I even have children and they are all happy here! Even though I had graduated with many degrees in Egypt but hey, I couldn't convince God not to bless me. Like Moses, in the above conversation;"How many times do we try and convince God that he cannot use us for great things? How many times do we believe our backgrounds, mistakes and insecurities when they tell us t...

This is another level of life.

When Jane, a twelve year old girl would cry in order for her mother to pay close  attention to her; Joane (Jane's mother) would quickly attend to her, pampering and  tapping lightly on her back with massaging strokes of her hand. At that young age, Jane enjoyed this experience so much such that it became her normal. However, as she grew older, she noticed that her mother had changed  her response towards her. She then realized that she had to do something different in order to regain her mother's attention... One of the obstacle that stands on our way or delays us from getting to another level of life is to try and solve today's problem with yesterday's formula. Just because a certain method worked wonders on yesterday's problem, does not necessarily mean that it can work on today's problem. Joshua understood this very clearly at the face of the raging river Jordan that was at a flooding stage. Instead of using the staff of Moses that parted the red see; Jo...
